Caroline dealt with a very odd sale – in as much as she was 60% through the sale when I walked into the office and announced I was now the actual owner of the property. I was happy for the sale to continue and we would just change solicitors to mine. The previous vendors were no longer allowed to deal with the sale and I showed her paperwork to prove I was no acting to sell the property. Really helpful and tried to keep on top of the purchase even though there was a housing association involved which slowed the purchase considerably but was a pleasant experience all the same.

As with a previous sale of a property, all my dealings with Whitehornes when purchasing a property were excellent. There were some unnecessary delays through the respective conveyancers and Caroline and Kerry managed these issues and kept myself updated and the sellers reassured. Caroline and Kerry have been excellent throughout the whole process.
Whitehornes were recommended to me and having now used them to sell and buy I too will recommend.

Service ok but unhappy with cost. Was told it would be negotiated and it wasn’t. Don’t feel they did much for the money. I did all the viewings – the agent just provided a list of names and times. I also lost money as I followed the agents ‘steer’ to accept a young couple who then dropped out. The top bidder then of course dropped his bid – as you would expect. Apart from the cost the service was fine. I had a very easy sale so there wasn’t need for much communication. The young lady I dealt with was very pleasant. Initially it was a guy who was the one who told me cost was negotiable.

We got an initial valuation with Andy Robinson and signed a contract with Whitehornes 1 year prior to us actually listing our property. We felt absolutely no pressure to list within this period and there was a good level of communication to update us on the state of the housing market.

I cannot recommend Caroline and Kerry enough, after an unprecedented set of circumstances (due to a solicitors error) caused a traumatic move that left us homeless for 2 days, the two of them did everything they could to ease the pain. Communications were exemplary, being straight forward honest and open at all times. When things go wrong a companies ethos to their customers is exposed and Whitehornes has demonstrated incredible customer service going above and beyond. I will never recommend anyone other than whitehornes.

We decided to upsize due to a growing family mid 2020. Our nervousness was around selling our property which we loved and then not being able to find anything suitable in a reasonable timeframe.
